Aqua Analytics was engaged twice within six months to conduct a comprehensive water network audit and leak detection initiative in a remote Northern Territory community grappling with significant non-revenue water loss.
Methodology

- GIS Data Management: A Geographic Information System (GIS) solution was utilised to pinpoint the locations of network defects accurately, facilitating prompt and precise repairs.

- Leaks Detected: 65 individual leaks were identified, collectively accounting for 200 litres per minute loss.
- Significant Cost Savings: The project resulted in a monthly saving of 7,100 kiloliters of water, translating to a cost reduction of $32,300 per month. The return on investment (ROI) was achieved in a mere 1.5 months.
